ACS-IPC Training on Preterm Labour Risk Conducted at Sylhet Women’s Medical College Hospital
Sylhet, 19 July 2026 —The ACS-IPC Training Batch 01 was successfully conducted with the health workers of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Sylhet Women’s Medical College Hospital.
The session focused on “Risk of Preterm Labour,” emphasizing the identification of mothers at risk and the implementation of appropriate and safe interventions to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.
The training was facilitated by Dr. Rabeya Akter Brishti, Dr. Shakera Begum, and Dr. Debarati Ghosh, who actively engaged participants through interactive discussions and practical insights.
This initiative reflects an ongoing commitment to strengthening the capacity of healthcare providers in managing preterm labour risks and ensuring better quality of care for mothers and newborns.
