ACS-IR Onsite Training on Preterm Birth Risk and Labour Care Guide Begins at Moulvibazar District Hospital
Moulvibazar Sylhet, 20 July 2026 —The onsite training of the ACS-IR study on “Risk of Preterm Birth and Using Labour Care Guide to Document Preterm Birth” commenced today at Moulvibazar 250 Bed District Hospital.
Today(July 20, 2026) marked the first day of the training, with active participation of doctors and nurses from the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The session focuses on improving the identification, documentation, and management of preterm birth through the effective use of the Labour Care Guideline.
During the visit, Prof. Mannan also visited the SCANU (Special Care Newborn Unit), observed ongoing services.
This initiative aims to strengthen clinical practices and enhance the quality of maternal and newborn care at the mentioned facility.
